from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit
Tired of spring allergies ruining all of your fun times? Then look no further than this article!
Steps
- Know your allergies. Know what you are allergic to, and how allergic you are to your allergens.
- Take your prescribed allergy medicine as often as necessary. If you have not been prescribed an allergy medicine, Zyrtec and Claritin are good allergy medicines and are available over the counter.
- Tell your friends about your allergies. Tons of people have allergies, there's nothing to be ashamed of! Tell them that you might not be outside as much as normal, that you may be sniffling more, and that your voice might sound more nasally than normal.
- Plan your events and activities accordingly. Obviously, if you are allergic to grass, don't roll around in grass all day.
- Stay safe. Don't make a joke of your allergies, especially if they are very serious.
Tips
- Pack tissues wherever you go. During allergy season your nose will often run or be clogged at random times.
Warnings
- Don't take risks allergy-wise. It's better to be safe than sorry.
