Allergies towards peanuts are fairly common in the world today, and peanuts seems to be everywhere. These easy steps will show you how to avoid a allergic reaction to your peanut allergy! Easy as that!

  1. If you're eating in a restaurant, ask if any of the food has come in contact with peanuts. This is a very important question to ask because most cases of peanut allergic reactions is due from consumming peanuts. You should always ask because you'll never know if you're next peanut allergic reaction will be deadly.
  2. Make sure you have everyone in your workplace/or school know about your allergy. Don't keep your allergy a secret, that's just a disaster waiting to happen. Make sure everyone is familiar with who you are and your allegies. Tell them more about what will happen if you come in contact with peanuts. This is extremley important!
  3. Always read food labels to check for peanuts contact. It will sound boring and it will get annoying always checking for if it has come in contact with peanuts and it will stress you and others out sometimes but it's all worth it. Look for if it says something like 100% nut free or This product has come in contact with peanuts. Doing this will decrease your chances of an allergic reaction.
  4. Be familiar with foods that contain peanuts or nuts. There are tons of foods out there that contain peanuts like pastries, cakes, chocolate bars and lots more. Just make sure you know a lot of them.
  5. Avoid foods you make think came in contact with peanuts. I know you're gonna be real upset about avoiding foods you may think came in contact, but's all worth it in the end. For example, if there is a cookie and it may have been near peanuts, don't take the chance.
  6. Be sure of what your eating. Just because someone claims that what they're giving you is peanut-free cake, don't be too sure. Sadly, in the world there are wicked people sometimes out to get you and putting in your allergy in food is a easy way to get revenge. Also, if someone asks you to try some kind of food like their cultural food, be sure to ask them what they're feeding you.
